MSU Denver STEM Challenge Camp

Summer 2025

Explore a real-world STEM challenge using Lean Six Sigma Processes. Lean Six Sigma Process  seeks to improve performance by eliminating resource waste and defects. The method follows a set of steps designed to identify and address problems in the process. An example of Lean Six Sigma projects are: Cycle time to manufacture solar cells, Defects in the manufacturing of natural gas dehydrators, and Experiment designs in biology labs. You will earn a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate to add to your resume. This certificate indicates an understanding of enhanced problem-solving skills with an emphasis on DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model.
